We've spent years inside healthcare settings where compliance feels like a full-time job added on top of an already full schedule. The tools built for large systems never scaled down well, and the "simple" ones demanded constant oversight.
We knew the problem firsthand — so we built from the inside out.

Who We Are
Phalanx HealthTech was founded by Garret Thorn, a former Navy Corpsman with a background in information systems and cybersecurity. While working toward a career in healthcare cybersecurity consulting, he realized small practices were being asked to meet the same compliance standards as large hospitals, but without the people, budget, or time to manage it.
This led to a simple truth: small practices were being set up to fail. Many were flying blind and hoping for the best on critical compliance and security issues until it was too late, while being unreachable via traditional consultating because it was outside of their budgets.
Small practices needed something better: a platform they could use themselves that would work for them, without requiring constant maintenance, high costs, or a lengthy setup process.
So we built T1MBER — a compliance platform for real people. Because all practices deserve a solution designed by people who understand their reality.
Who We Are Not
Phalanx HealthTech is not another faceless software company chasing growth at all costs. We’re not claiming to “transmogrify” compliance or change the world overnight, but we are changing what small practices can expect from it.
We’re a small team building for other small teams, and we're on a mission to help practices solve real problems because we genuinely care, and are not afraid to set a higher standard.
